TSM Albert John Barlow

T SM Albert John Barlow, formerly of the Royal Northumberland Fusiliers, served with No.5 Troop of No. 6 Commando from, at least, October 1942.

TSMAlbert Barlow was Killed In Action (KIA) on 22nd November 1942, aged 37, when his troop train was straffed by two German planes and, in an attempt to escape from the carnage of the train he was dragged under the wheels of the still moving train.

He was the Husband of Irene E. Barlow, of Gosport , Hampshire. Albert is laid to rest in Bone War Cemetry, Annaba Grave III .A.11.
